Story:

“The Sunny Day”

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day. I woke up early and went for a walk in the park. The sun was shining, and the birds were singing. I felt happy and re- laxed. After my walk, I met my friend at a café and we had a lovely breakfast together. We chatted and laughed, and then I went home feeling grateful for such a wonderful day.

Paragraph:

“My Favorite Hobby”

My favorite hobby is reading. I love getting lost in a good book and exploring new worlds and characters. Reading helps me relax and escape from the stresses of everyday life. I enjoy reading fiction, non-fiction, and even comics! My favorite authors are J.K. Rowling and J.R.R. Tolkien. I try to read for at least an hour every day.

Note:

  • “Do” is used with “I”, “you”, “we”, and “they”.

“Does” is used with “he”, “she”, and “it”.

The negative form is used to deny something.

  • The interrogative form is used to ask questions.

The negative interrogative form is used to ask questions that deny something.

Remember, the Present Indefinite form of “do” and “does” is used to describe habits, routines, and general truths.
